Advisory Board

The Advisory Board will meet twice with the QMM Leadership Team during 2010. The August meeting in Vancouver will be a mid-year check-in on 2010 goal progress as well as an initial planning session for 2011. The December meeting will be a review of the 2011 Business Plan. The Advisory Board has provided invaluable direction to QMM's Leadership Team since 2007. The following individuals currently sit on the QMM Advisory Board:

David Duryee

David Duryee is the Managing Director of Horizon Management Services LLC, and has been active in business consulting, succession planning and financial training for over thirty years. He received his BA and MBA in finance from the University of Washington and has diplomas from the College for Financial Planning, Pacific Coast Banking School (Honors), and the American Institute of Banking. He is the author or co-author of several books as well as numerous articles in trade publications. He is a nationally known lecturer to business owners, bankers, and professionals, and sits on the boards of several corporations.


Lynn Harrison MA ABS CPCC

Lynn Harrison is an organization development consultant and executive coach with over 25 years experience in management/consulting. Her background includes co-founding an international, franchised training organization, leading at the senior management level and providing consulting services to a wide range of organizations in both the private and public sectors.

Prior to forming her own consulting business in 1992, Lynn was Vice President, Client Services for the Atheneum Learning Corporation, a division of Priority Management Systems International. Before that, she was Vice President, Product Development for Achievers International, overseeing all program design and the training of franchised consultants in Canada and the U.S. Between 1980 and 1986, she was a human resource manager at Worksafe B.C., responsible for management & staff development and the employee wellness program.

Lynn has a Masters Degree in Applied Behavioral Science (Management & Consulting), a Bachelors Degree from the University of British Columbia, and is currently enrolled in the PhD in Organizational Systems program at Saybrook University in California. She is a certified professional coach, active in the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and has held positions on various boards of directors.


Salvatore J. Manso

Salvatore J. Manso (Sal) is the President of Reebie Storage & Moving and has been actively involved in the transportation business for over 35 years.

Sal began as a driver in the freight industry moving to logistics management at Santa Fe railroad and finally to the moving and storage industry where he has been associated for the last 30 years. He has worked in dispatch and managed operations, moving through the ranks to Vice President of Operations & General Manager. In 1986 he was promoted to his present position of President. In his current role he oversees both the financial and physical growth of Reebie from a staff of 20 and $400K gross sales in 1974 to over 150 employees and $16M revenue in 2009. Sal has extensive experience in all facets of domestic and international transportation services and is versed in formulating and implementing business management operations policies, practices and procedures. Sal's experience enabled Reebie to be viewed amongst his peers as one of the most successful of its kind.

Sal also serves on many industry-related committees and boards, serving both the customer and the industry, helping to bring both into the 21st century. He and his wife Mary Beth, reside in Northbrook, IL, and have nine children.
