Qualifications:

- Finance Team Support (Temporary - Vancouver)
The Finance team is seeking an individual to provide support to the department over the next two to three months. Ideally, the candidate will have some accounting experience and will perform a variety of tasks in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoice processing and account reconciliations for the accounting and revenue processing teams. The role will also include some general administrative support.
The successful candidate will have solid numerical skills, strong attention to detail and be comfortable performing a variety of tasks, which may change from day to day. The position may appeal to someone working towards a recognized accounting designation that would benefit from exposure to a variety of areas within an accounting department. Candidates with have excellent spreadsheet skills and experience with Great Plains would be desirable. Comfort with change, managing multiple responsibilities and introducing non-routine assignments and tasks into your day will contribute to your success. You will also have strong interpersonal skills that will allow you to liaise effectively with other departments.
This position is suitable for a summer student, with the flexibility to provide part time employment into September, if desired.

- Billing and Revenue Processing (Permanent - Vancouver)
We are currently seeking an experienced accountant to fill a billing and revenue processing role. The position is responsible for finalizing invoices, analyzing shipment paperwork, verifying costing and calculating and recording revenues. In addition, there may be additional tasks within the department to be completed.
The successful candidate will have solid, intermediate accounting skills, superior analytical skills and be detail oriented. Transactions are often non-routine and can be complex, so an ability to identify key issues and reason through the implications is important. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel and Outlook, is mandatory and experience with Great Plains would be desirable. Comfort managing multiple tasks and strong interpersonal skills that allow you to liaise effectively with other departments will contribute to your success.
