Position Overview:

As a crew member, you will be required to provide a quality customer service in a positive and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, pack, load and deliver household goods

• Physical lifting and carrying of item between truck and residence

• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle

• Record information such as mileage, fuel costs, and daily logs

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid, minimum Class 5 driver's license – must have a reliable way to get to work

• Current driver's abstract

• Experience in moving furniture and household items considered an asset

• Customer service experience

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items exceeding 70 lbs on a regular basis

  •  Billing and Revenue Processing (Permanent - Vancouver) 

Over the past 17 years Quality Move Management has established itself as a leading provider of moving services, primarily to corporate relocation customers.  From our locations in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton we provide domestic, cross-border and international moving services to many of Canada’s leading businesses.  Our focus is on providing the highest quality move experience for our transferees and an excellent and supportive work environment for our employees. 

We are currently seeking an experienced accountant to fill a billing and revenue processing role.  The position is responsible for producing accurate invoices based on shipment budgets, account contracts and shipment paperwork and entering the related revenues after verifying the appropriate costing and van line charges.  There may be additional tasks within the department to be completed, as assigned. 

The successful candidate will have solid, intermediate accounting skills, superior analytical skills and be detail oriented.  Transactions are often non-routine and can be complex, so an ability to identify key issues and reason through the implications is important.  Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel and Outlook, is mandatory and experience with Great Plains would be desirable.  Comfort managing multiple tasks and strong interpersonal skills that allow you to liaise effectively with other departments will contribute to your success.

  • Drive Payment Processor and G/L reconciliations ( Permanent - Vancouver)

We are currently seeking an experienced junior to intermediate accountant to handle the payments to our fleet of owner operators.  Most of the tasks associated with this position are similar to an accounts payable position.  In addition, the person in this roll is the first point of contact for answering inquiries, so exceptional customer service and problem solving skills are essential.  This role will also be accountable for timely reconciliations of the general ledger accounts related to each driver and will assist with the reconciliations of additional general ledger clearing accounts.  There may be additional tasks within the department to be completed, as assigned. 

The successful candidate will have introductory to intermediate accounting skills, a strong attention to detail and highly responsive customer service skills.  Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel and Outlook, is mandatory and experience with Great Plains would be desirable.  Comfort managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines, along with strong interpersonal skills that allow you to liaise effectively with our drivers and other departments will contribute to your success.
