Many thanks for the professional yet personalmanner in which my recent move was handled. Thanks to Francis Leal for coming to the house to have a look before finalizing the estimate, and for arranging for some packing materials. Thanks to Art McGovern and his crew for the careful handling and loading of my furniture, especially the piano. Thanks to Lisa Nyland for keeping me informed as to what was happening, and for answering my questions.
Art was having a bit of trouble rounding up a couple of helpers at this end, but he put in a couple of phone calls to Regina. Two Amigos Moving had a crew here loading a house a few blocks away. They sent over two young men who obviously knew what they were doing and who were willing to really hustle. The truck was unloaded in just over an hour, with everything placed where requested. Awesome!
Again, many thanks for the professional yet personal service. I would be happy to recommend your company to anyone contemplating a move. You get an A+ on your report card! (That is coming from a retired schoolteacher who didn't give out that kind of grade very often!)

Everything went very well and the movers were already started moving things upstairs when we got to the new apartment. The mover Pat Christopher and his men were a pleasure. Pat was the same person that packed in High River, packing in the temp and then moved everything into the new apartment. I will recommend your company to all my friends that are moving in the future.

Working with QMM has made what is at the best of times a big upheaval for a family, a painless experience. You were responsive and diligent in answering our questions and trying to accommodate our circumstances (i.e. with the flooding, moving out earlier, etc). Erin was a real star and followed up with us the entire time, before packing, before moving, during packing, after loading, before delivery and subsequently. A++ marks to Erin. I hope companies like yours stay in business for a long, long time. It has restored my faith in the value of good, high quality people and standards, especially in an industry like yours which is fraught with horror stories which people have experience when moving. When we live in a world with letters of complaint seeming to be the norm, it is a great relief to be inspired to write a letter of high commendation.

My experience with Allied/QMM was amazing. I've used several other moving companies for different office moves in the past, and so I had some pre-existing expectations about how things would advance. I was not only impressed, but blown away with how well everything went.
From the first meeting, all QMM staff was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Even before we chose which moving quote to go with, your estimator had given us tips and pointers on moving, and even a small booklet with recommendations. Next, due to your prices and the service thus far, we chose you for our move. We were assigned you as our dedicated customer service specialist as a single point of contact, and you handled everything from there. When we ran out of boxes, you were happy to help. When we needed to change the day of our move, again you handled everything, and were always wonderful to speak with.
On the day of our move the truck showed up right when they said it would, and the workers once again blew us away. The small amount we had not finished, they helped with to speed things up, reassured us that we would have everything done on time, and even helped us make sure our pets were locked in a room before they started, to prevent any escapes! These guys were dressed professionally, acted and spoke as professionals, and quite frankly worked their tails off. There was not a single mark on any surface, and the truck was loaded before we knew it. Unpacking was much the same, they showed up about 2 minutes before they said they would, made sure they wouldn't damage anything, and moved every box and piece of furniture exactly where it was supposed to go.
After working with 3 other companies, and now with QMM/Allied, I will never use another company. Your professionalism, knowledge, and prices all impressed me and they simply made everything much smoother than I could have ever hoped it would be.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for the work done by your staff on my recent relocation for work.
I work with the provincial government here in BC, and last July secured a new position that required me to relocate to Victoria. From my first telephone conversation with Miss Erin Winter that month through the ensuing many phone calls and emails over the next ten months, I have been consistently impressed with the high degree of professionalism and service I have received from Erin, and ultimately everyone else involved in my move from your company. When Francis Leal came out in August to do the assessment of my household contents he put me right at ease, answering any and all questions I had - mostly before I could even ask them, he was so prepared - and putting my mind at rest about how the whole moving process would unfold. Unfortunately for me I listed my house for sale just as the housing market collapsed, and so a move that we'd hoped would occur in early fall dragged on into the new year. During those many months Erin kept in regular contact with me by either phone or email, and kept me reassured that should a sale occur they would be ready at any time to deal with my move, and cheerfully answered any and all questions I had at any time. At one point in November it appeared possible that a sale might happen and that it would in all likelihood involve a move out turnaround of less than two weeks notice. Despite this being close to the end of the month - a busy time for moving companies - Erin assured me that QMM would make it happen. That sale did not transpire, and once again Erin and I began our "holding pattern" monthly check in phone calls and emails.
My home finally sold in late March of this year, and everything started rolling quickly at that point. The moving dates that were required under the contract of sale were quickly confirmed by Erin, and on the appointed dates your moving staff attended and got me out of my old home in good order. The gentlemen that came out to pack my stuff up: Ray Greenwood, Patrick Christopher and Grant Palen made the packing day actually a very pleasant experience for me. All three of the men were so calm, professional, and efficient they removed any stress and tension I'd been feeling about how that day would go. In fact, they made it fun. They were epitome of courtesy and helpfulness throughout the day. If I needed a bit more time in an area I was packing up then they simply moved onto another part of the house, and waited until I said I was done. At no time did I ever feel pressured into moving faster than I could manage, or into making decisions too quickly about what I needed to have with me. They are true professionals, and a credit to your company. The next day brought Ray back as part of the loading crew, and also Ray Lambright and Jacques Michon. The loading of the truck was done in a fast and efficient manner and with a high degree of attention paid to ensuring that no damage occurred to any of my items or to the walls and other fixtures of my building. I had advised them that my building placed a high degree of emphasis on security and that the door to the building could not be left unattended if open. Jacques was working on the truck loading the items as they were brought down and I don't think the other residents of the building could have asked for a more diligent "doorman" if they'd tried. He was most meticulous in making sure that no one went through that door if they weren't in possession of a key that could open it. As with the previous day, your staff made my day completely worry-free, and actually enjoyable. A rare feat I should think given the inherent stress in any move from one location to another.
When the day for delivery came, once again Ray Greenwood was the lead on the crew, and this time he was accompanied by Tom Reuter. They arrived off the ferry exactly when they said they would, and proceeded to begin the unloading and unpacking process. Both Ray and Tom consulted with me, and with each other, as to how best to unload the truck and get stuff in and out of the way effectively. Ray got me set up with my "box number bingo" sheet, and soon items were pretty much flying off the truck and into my new home. Everything ended up exactly where I wanted it to be, and stacked so that it was all easily accessible. Once the truck was empty the unpacking began, and Ray and Tom again demonstrated the high degree of service and professionalism I'd come to so appreciate. Boxes were unpacked in whatever order I felt best, the empties taken out - along with the seemingly endless pounds of packing paper! - and the items were put where it was easiest for me to attend to putting them away. At the end of the day I was left with a very manageable pile of boxes to deal with myself, and most of my stuff already unpacked and put away. As before, your staff had made a potentially stressful and draining day go so easily, and stress-free I could hardly believe it was over.
For all they did during each of the stages of my move I cannot thank your moving specialists enough. All six of the men I had the pleasure of dealing with made the experience truly stress-free, and as mentioned kind of fun. They are professionals of the highest standard, and a real credit to your firm.
I've also had a claim arising from a damaged picture, and would like to commend Paul Wagner of your claims department for his quick and efficient handling of that matter. It was dealt with promptly and courteously by him, and that too was over almost before I realized it. Another degree of service that is often lacking in the business world today.
Finally, I'd like to take this opportunity to let you know just how much I have appreciated dealing with Miss Erin Winter. Erin was the first contact I had with QMM, and right from that first phone call through many more calls and countless emails, she has been the lynch-pin that kept my move on track. She is always a consummate professional, and her service standards are the highest. She has always been ready to deal with any question or concern I might have, and never did I feel that I was bothering her or inconveniencing her with yet another silly question. We have had many phone calls over these past many months, and I can honestly say that it was a pleasure to deal with her each and every time. There has been much laughter in our conversations, and between that and Erin's natural ease in her job, has helped me to feel confident in what would happen in my move, and that my belongings really were in the best of hands with QMM. Erin is a wonderful person to deal with, and as the "first face" of QMM for many customers she sets a standard that is very much appreciated. It has truly been my pleasure to have the opportunity to work with her, and I wish her the highest success in her career. QMM is extremely fortunate to have her as part of your organization, and she is a Customer Service Specialist of the highest order.
In closing I would like to thank again all your staff for making my move so easy, and I would like to also convey my appreciation to each of you for ensuring that your company has the type of people on staff such as Erin, Ray, Patrick, Grant, Ray, Jacques, Tom, Francis, that make QMM the type of top ranked company that it is. Your colleagues in the UK were so helpful and went beyond the call of duty when helping us get sorted during a very stressful time. Corrina and the guys that did the packing were excellent and without them it seemed like all could have gone horribly wrong. Once we arrived in Vancouver, Lyndsie Wilson called us straight away to give an update for our delivery. She helped us through the immigration process and made everything seem so easy. She was on top of everything for our benefit from the moment our belongings arrived in Canada.
