Water sports are a must for things to do in Vancouver, along with boating and whale watching. The Prince of Whales Whale Watching is a great place in Vancouver where you can go out to sea and find whales in their natural habitat. There is nothing better than seeing such a great animal in its own environment, and it is a sight not seen by all. When living in Vancouver, however, this amazing experience will be one not to miss.

 

High Heights

With Vancouver being so rife with natural sights like mountains and forests, high explorations are not unlikely. This means you are able to see sights that not a great many do. The Capilano Suspension Bridge park is a brilliant place to visit, in order to cross the Capilano River. And the Sea to Sky Gondola is a great way to see all of Squamish. You can see the town in Vancouver from sea to the sky, for a 1-mile trail. How cool is that?

Perhaps one of the most important reasons why you should live in Vancouver is the fact that everyone is welcome. Canada is a very forward-thinking, accepting country as a whole, and this extends to Vancouver as well. LGBTQ is a big thing in Canada, welcoming people of every sexuality and sexual identity. Similarly, Vancouver is a celebrated city for its diversity of ethnicity and culture, too.

Vancouver hosts the Queer Arts festival and the Asian film festival, as examples of how it celebrates diversity in their city. Plus, as an expatriate, you will feel right at home in Vancouver. You will be able to find something for you within this varied city, and it practices wellness in abundance.
